This creative project was made specifically for the music festival "SUBLIMATION." At its core is a visual poem about inner awakening and returning to oneself. We tell two parallel stories — one female and one male. Release date: 30 September 2024 CREDITS / SUBLIMATION
Problem
Our idea was to tell about inner awakening as a quiet but powerful movement of the soul. We aimed to convey this not through words, but through images, atmosphere, light, and rhythm. Two parallel stories — one male and one female — became metaphors for the journey to oneself: through doubt, fear, and pain — to honesty, feelings, and freedom. It was important not just to tell, but to create a space for recognition.
Solution
The female journey speaks to how, over time, a girl may forget how to dream. How a young woman fears being seen, and how a woman begins living for others — slowly losing touch with herself. But the depth of her emotions becomes a point of liberation. We show how pain becomes the spark for courage — to take that step toward oneself, toward freedom, toward true desires. The male journey reveals how men's emotions are often hidden behind armor and feelings suppressed. Yet behind this protection lies the inner freedom he longs for. His path is just as complex and vital: to allow himself to feel, to open his heart, and to meet his true self. Both stories unfold against the recognizable cultural backdrop of Uzbekistan. We’ve carefully woven in local symbols, imagery, and archetypes — from visual details to musical accompaniment. This is a message to everyone seeking the way back to themselves — beyond gender, age, or experience. To dream — boldly, in rhythm with your heart.
