Problem
Despite initially operating under the name Azon Cafe and offering its customers a national ambiance and comfortable setting, it became evident over time that this name did not fully align with the overall concept and direction of the brand. From a phonetic standpoint, the name Azon failed to adequately reflect the restaurant's current image - that of a modern, aesthetically pleasing establishment with national flair, capable of attracting a broad audience. Furthermore, from a visual identity perspective, the name did not make a sufficiently strong impression.
Solution
For the brand's new phase, the name "Maskan" was chosen. In Uzbek, this word evokes warm and familiar concepts such as a gathering place, home, shelter, and quiet retreat. Through this meaning, the restaurant's core ideas of closeness, sincerity, and hospitality were more vividly expressed. Based on this, the conceptual idea of the "Our Maskan" project was developed. Through this concept, "Maskan" was presented not just as a place to eat, but as a space where one could feel at ease, gather with loved ones, and enjoy a calm and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Drawing from this concept, a new visual identity was created - it blends modern design aesthetics with the Uzbek spirit: a warm color palette, graphic elements inspired by national forms, and typographic solutions allow the brand to clearly convey its new image.

This change did not elicit any negative feedback about the brand - on the contrary, it was warmly and positively received by customers. The new name and updated visual image harmoniously added clarity, modernity, and national character to the brand, attracting a wider audience that was previously not reached.
