A project created by our creative team to showcase a completely new flavour of the well-known Lay's chips.

Problem

The task was to showcase a new flavour – Flamin’ Hot – to evoke new emotions and interest in the chips among viewers, as well as to emphasise the presence and pairing of new ingredients within the existing package design.

Solution

In order to achieve this goal, we created all the objects in the video, from a simple potato model to a model of shrimp with wasabi sauce, to show each ingredient that was used to create this flavour. We also added close-up shots in 3D scenes to trigger an impulse desire in consumers to try the product.

Result

Based on a survey of the potential target audience in the 18-30 age group (male and female), 9 out of 10 consumers, after watching the video, expressed their main concern when choosing chips: a lack of understanding of the specified flavour due to visual noise in the packaging. Our 3D video was able to provide information and bring across the essence of the ingredients and product contents, as well as stimulate impulse for purchase.
